Supporting Local Communities: Copeland Donates Communal Pod to Heygarth Primary School
Copeland is proud to support local communities across the North West, not only through security services but through practical actions that make a genuine difference.
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and reducing landfill, Copeland recently gifted a breakout table and communal pod to Heygarth Primary School in Eastham. The pod had previously been used within the business and remained in excellent condition, making reuse a far better option than disposal.
The school’s leadership team were delighted with the donation and confirmed that the pod would be put into use immediately, providing a flexible space for pupils to learn, collaborate and take time away from the main classroom environment when needed.
Kyle, CEO of Copeland Group Services, commented:
“Supporting our local community is something we genuinely care about. If we can reduce waste and help a school create a better environment for its pupils at the same time, that is exactly the kind of outcome we want to see.”
Danny Stenhouse, Business Manager at Heygarth Primary School, added:
“Thank you Alan. Our Headteacher is delighted and has a plan for it already.”
At Copeland, we believe responsible businesses should look beyond their core services and consider how they can positively impact the communities around them. Reusing quality equipment not only reduces environmental impact but also allows local organisations to benefit from practical resources that support wellbeing and education.
We are pleased to see the communal pod already being put to good use at Heygarth Primary School and look forward to continuing our support for local initiatives that strengthen communities and promote sustainability.
